Our Children
At Shepherd ELC, we respect and value the voice of every child. Our goal is to empower children to actively engage in their learning by expressing their opinions and participating in decision-making. We offer a nurturing environment that fosters autonomy and independence, while also encouraging positive relationships among peers.

We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment that enriches the lives and identities of the children and families in our program. Our outdoor setting encourages open-ended interactions and exploration, promoting spontaneity and a deep connection with nature.
To further our commitment to sustainability, we embrace Loose Parts Play, where educators, children, and their families donate, reuse, renew, and recycle materials at our centre.
